This Privacy Policy explains how Schooli processes personal data as a controller (website + account admin + support + billing contacts). For student/parent data processed for a school inside the Service, the school is typically the controller and Schooli acts as a processor under the DPA/AVV in the Terms page (Appendix A).

1) What this policy covers

• visitors to myschooli.com (landing site)
• school admins/staff who create or manage Schooli accounts
• people who contact Schooli (support/sales)
• billing contacts for Messaging Credits

2) Data we collect

2.1 Landing site (myschooli.com)

• device/browser information, page views, timestamps, referral information
• cookie/device identifiers and analytics events (see Cookies/Analytics)

2.2 Account/admin data

• name, email, phone number (including WhatsApp if provided)
• role/permissions, login events, audit logs
• organization/school name, country

2.3 Support communications

• messages you send to us and related metadata
• troubleshooting information you provide

2.4 Billing contacts

• billing contact details
• credit purchase history, invoices, and payment status

(Schooli does not process card payments by default; top-ups may be handled through your chosen payment route.)

• operate and secure accounts and the Service
• provide support and respond to requests
• deliver operational emails/communications
• manage prepaid credit top-ups and invoicing
• improve reliability and usability (including admin portal usage analytics)
• prevent abuse and protect platform integrity

5) Cookies and analytics

5.1 Mixpanel (landing site)

• We use Mixpanel on myschooli.com for website analytics.
• Mixpanel processing location: EEA (as configured by Schooli).

Some jurisdictions require opt-in consent for analytics cookies. If you block cookies via browser settings or extensions, analytics may be limited.

5.2 Admin portal analytics

We also collect usage analytics inside admin portals (e.g., feature usage) to improve the Service. We do not intentionally include student/parent personal data or message content in analytics telemetry.

6) Sharing

We may share data with service providers that help us run Schooli, including:

• Meta/WhatsApp (Global) for WhatsApp message delivery
• Google (Gmail SMTP, Global) for transactional emails
• Sentry (Global) for error monitoring (obfuscated/minimized telemetry)
• Mixpanel (EEA) for landing site analytics

We do not sell personal data.

7) International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the EEA. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) through vendor terms/contracts.

8) Retention

• account/admin data: retained for the life of the account and up to 90 daysafter deletion/termination (unless required longer for legal reasons)
• support communications: up to 24 months
• backups: up to 90 days (rolling)
• invoices/records: as required by applicable law

9) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect data, including access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring, and backups.

10) Your rights

If we are the controller for your data, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, and data portability (subject to applicable law).
